1. Arvind Kejriwal – From IIT Kharagpur:
Coming from an upper-middle-class family of Siwani, Haryana, and Mr. Kejriwal completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1985, and became the second-youngest Chief Minister of Delhi on 28th December 2013.
2. Vinod Khosla – From IIT Delhi :
As per Forbes in 2014, this Indian-American Khosla Venture capitalist and a billionaire businessman “Vinod Khosla” was among the 400 richest people in the United States. Mr. Khosla finished his B.Tech from IIT Delhi, majoring in Electrical Engineering and now he is widely known as an investor, entrepreneur, and technologist, particularly the co-founder of Sun Microsystems.
3. Chetan Bhagat – From IIT Delhi :
Apart from being the author of India’s best-selling books, such as Revolution 2020, Half Girlfriend, The 3 Mistakes of My Life, and Five Point Someone, Chetan Bhagat who came from a middle-class Punjabi Hindu family, has another identity as an Engineer, who completed his Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1995. After that, he also studied Master’s in Business Administration from IIM Ahmedabad.
4. Sundar Pichai – From IIT Kharagpur :
Everyone must have heard the name “Sundar Pichai” as the CEO of Google, the best tech company in the world. But it is not one day’s hard work, this Indian-American business executive studied B.Tech in Metallurgy Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1993 and became the CEO of Google on 10th August 2015.
5. Sachin Bansal – From IIT Delhi :
Online shopping and the name of Sachin Bansal are connected to each other. Born in Chandigarh, India, he finished his graduation in Computer Engineering from IIT Delhi in 2005, and then he became the CEO of India’s biggest online shopping company “Flipkart” in 2007. But since 2018, he has been known as the former CEO of “Flipkart” from when Walmart acquired it.
6. Jitendra Kumar – From IIT Kharagpur :
Jitendra Kumar is a name that is often heard in the world of web series. This man has proved himself while acted in Panchayat, Kota Factory, and other numerous web series, TV serials, and films of today’s generation. But this actor has other identities as well i.e. a Civil Engineer of IIT Kharagpur and the Governor of the Hindi Technology Dramatics Society at IIT KGP.
7. Rohit Bansal – From IIT Delhi :
Coming from a Punjabi family of Malout and completing the Bachelor’s degree from IIT Delhi, Rohit Bansal has become an Indian entrepreneur and the face-name of India’s leading online marketplace, “Snapdeal”.
8. Bhavish Aggarwal – From IIT Powai, Mumbai :
The Indian entrepreneur who finished his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2008, was came among the top 100 Most Influential People on Time Magazine in 2018. Born in Ludhiana, Bhavish Aggarwal started the famous “Ola Cabs” in India.
9. N.R.Narayan Murthy – From IIT Kanpur :
In 2008, the Government of India had shown respect to Mr. Murthy with Padma Vibhushan and in 2012, he stood among the 12 greatest entrepreneurs of today’s world by Fortune Magazine. This is the man who studied Master’s from IIT Kanpur in 1969 and later became the founder and ex-chairman of “Infosys”, a multinational information technology company in India.

In 2005, Deepinder Goyal finished his graduation in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Delhi. And then he became the founder and CEO of “Zomato”, the biggest food delivery company in India.
11. Raghuram Govinda – From IIT Delhi :
Born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and being a Graduate of IIT Delhi with Mechanical Engineering, Raghuram Govinda came as the best all-rounder during his graduation in 1985 and was awarded the Director’s Gold Medal for that. He is known as an Indian economist and the former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.
