1. Bezos was born when his mother was just a teenager:
When his mother, Jacklyn Gise Jorgensen was barely 17, she gave birth to Jeff Bezos. And as a result, she got restricted from finishing her studies. But still, she did not leave baby Jeff and afterward, she got divorced from Jeff’s biological father.
2. Bezos grew his interest in engineering from childhood:
Jeff, form his childhood, could take his crib part with a screwdriver by himself and when he started going high school, he transformed his garage into a laboratory for his own inventions.
3. Bezos started doing business from his high school days:
When Bezos was just in high school, he started his own business named the “Dream Institute”, an educational summer for fourth, fifth, and sixth graded students. Bezos and his girlfriend both worked in that camp along with six attendees.

Bezos used to work at several financial firms including Fitel and investment firm D.E. Shaw on Wall Street in New York City just after graduating from Princeton University majoring in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

Though he wanted to name it “Cadabra”, he could not. Because he got a warning from Amazon’s first lawyer, Todd Terbert that the word “Cadabra” sounded a little similar to “cadaver” over the phone. Then Jeff named it according to the largest river in the world.
6. Bezos was among the passengers in the helicopter crash in 2003:
Jeff was involved in a serious helicopter crash in West Texas while he was travelling by an Aérospatiale Gazelle helicopter with his attorney, guide Ty Holland and pilot Charles Bella. The helicopter partially filled with water but all of them escaped from the wreck with only minor injuries.
7. Bezos played as a cameo in “Star Trek Beyond”:
Jeff shared a movie set with Chris Pine in “Stark Trek Beyond” when he was appointed to play a role of an alien. And according to Jeff, he enjoyed his role a lot.

An investigation found that the 25 richest Americans usually pay little to no income taxes and Jeff Bezos is one of them. Jeff once in 2007 paid a whopping zero bucks in federal income taxes and got $4,000 in return from the IRS in 2011.
9. Bezos was caught up in a sexting scandal:
In 2009, the National Enquirer exposed that Jeff had sexts he allegedly sent to his girlfriend, Laura Sanchez. He sent his sexts like this “I want to smell you, I want to breathe you in, I want to hold you tight…………and my lips, my eyes, very soon”.
